To keep in the spirit of "when I first got my new-used-camera!" posts, I thought I would share these old photos I took last winter-spring-sometime. I was still commuting to the city via ferry boat from my parents house on occasion, and the Farm Fresh to You stand (and market? I'm not entirely sure) provided me with some good practice shots.DSC_7385 DSC_7383 DSC_7382 DSC_7381 DSC_7380 DSC_7378 DSC_7376I wish I liked grapes more. Sometimes the really fresh ones, the ones that aren't too soggy and have the weird bruises, or aren't too new and sour and sting your mouth, those ones that aren't either of those things are good. I actually had some at work the other day that I found pleasantly appetizing. But mostly, I don't really care for grapes.

Pears, on the other hand, always appeal to me. And kiwis! I should make more fruit in my meals. Summertime is the best time for fruit and we are fast approaching fall and I know I live in California but I should get used to eating more seasonally than I currently do - so I should take advantage of fruit while I can. I put blueberries in my salad tonight, a Joy the Baker recipe, and it was delicious. I should add blueberries to more things! They are especially delicious in oatmeal. Oatmeal can be really underrated sometimes.

What was my point? Oh who knows. Eat more fruit, everyone. Enjoy the pictures!
