One Two Three: Do It Yourself Projects

Time for another One-Two-Three post! This time, I thought I'd share with you a few of the DIY projects I've been collecting on the internet.

Something to Carry:

The blog Say Yes to Hoboken posted this currently-trendy (and seemingly easy) sewing pattern for how to make your own makeup bag. As soon as we find where we packed the sewing machine (which, admittedly, could take years) I'll be picking out fabrics for this pattern. Also, once you get the hang of it, what a fantastic gift idea this would be!

Something to Keep:

One of my favorite bloggers, Megan Ta Da, posted this DIY for how to create a wish list of events or goals in a way that can be decorative as well as inspirational: the Dandelion Wish To Do List.

Something to Cherish:

A dear friend just posted this on Pinterest, and though it may take longer than the other DIYs above, I can't wait to try this Bumpy Crochet Afghan pattern. I have always wanted to crochet myself an afghan to curl up with in the winter time. It's much easier to imagine you are one of the Little Women in their Massachusettes home by the fire, or a starving painter in a freezing garret in Paris, or a woman on vacation at the Cape, if you have an afghan. I'm just saying.
