Summer is coming to a close elsewhere in the world, stores are stocking the fall styles and restaurants are switching their seasonal vegetable lists, while San Francisco is finally just getting its heat wave. To commemorate this I thought I'd share with y'all some of my favorite summer To Dos and To Makes and To Buys! We might have a bit more time before the 80 degree weather leaves and we have to break out the cableknit sweaters (confession: I can't wait for that!) and it's important to take advantage of the best summer has to offer.

\ The top ten Miramax movies coming soon to Netflix you'll want to see - host an outdoor movie marathon projected on an apartment wall! Take it a step further by serving ice cold cocktails and herbed popcorn.

\ A pair of neutral chunky wedges, mixed with some colorful denim, will carry you all the way to fall! Apparently it's also acceptable to transition them into the next season with tights.

\ Design and paint your own sun printed batik scarf - I would use lots of neons and geometric shapes!

\ How to make a homemade pie crust. Delish. I've always wanted to try making a Strawberry Rhubarb pie.

\ Ever wonder what to do with those magazine pages you meant to go back to? A magazine reading system so detailed you almost won't believe it.
