Berry Breakfast Smoothie | Fork it Over

Alright Bloggees, I know what you must be thinking.

"Really, a smoothie? Like we don't know how to operate a blender? And what color is that - mauve? Do I want to even know how you made that? Probably not. I'm going to Jamba Juice GURL BYE."

I promise though, it's more complicated than it looks! And even if it isn't, well, I'm still showing you how to make it. Them's the breaks, kid.

Start with a lot of strawberries. Cut off the little tops like hats and line them up. Instagram them to show how healthy you're being.

Sure, dump some blueberries in there. That'll add that great dark color to the mix.

Grate fresh ginger on top - it looks like I added a lot, but I could have added even more if I was getting serious about it. I wanted to feel that ginger all the way in the back of my brain, but what I got was a light zippiness to the smoovie.

Then you know what you're going to do? Pile 3/4 of an avocado (or a whole avo, if you don't have any of those gross brown bits like I had in mine) on top. This is going to add creaminess - and good fats! You won't even taste it. You might even wonder later why you added it, but, these are not questions for mere mortals. I just follow the celestial instructions, and they say more avo.

Pile some mint and flaxseed on there too. The mint is the kicker - and the flaxseed will make it feel super healthy, while adding a tiny bit of seedy crunch. Yep, it sounds weird, but it worked!

Don't forget to give your blender a good, solid name - like Margarita Machine!

Add about a 1/2 cup to a cup of almond milk, and BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

You're welcome.
