Best Laid Plans

Sometimes, things just don't work out as you had planned. You might organize and triple-check and rely all you want upon certain events, but they may just not come to fruition.

For example, you might go away (for less than 48 hours) for a friend's camping trip birthday celebration, and come home to an email informing you the girl who was supposed to move in that evening was not going to move in at all...ever.

I sent back an email that I think was fair and mature, but which also alerted her to the fact that this was an incredibly inconsiderate move on her part. Though, I'll be honest, you should have seen my face when I was writing it. It was not good. Well, all of this is just another learning experience. Now we know for next time - get a deposit!
