Wearables: Canadian Tuxedo in Spring

There are just some classic outfit silhouettes you have to try at least once in your life. All Black and White, the LBD, The Crisp White Shirt, etc. One of my favorites is the (no offense, neighbors to the North!) "Canadian tuxedo" - Denim on Denim. If you've ever seen or met me in real life, I was probably wearing jeans. I am trying to break into dresses, and maybe after that I'll give skirts a try, but jeans are my tried and true. I always feel comfortable and cute in them, and I can pair them easily with the 1300 tops and cardigans and scarves I have. You can dress them up or dress them down! You can tie them in a bow! Wait, that's a basset hound's ears or something. Nevermind.

With this outfit, I see...iced tea. An outdoor patio. A chopped salad. Lip gloss. Friends. Sunglasses. What a nice lunch break that would be!

(Sigh.)

I miss Los Angeles when it's sunny here. But today, it is raining. So I will leave these photos to carry us through to Spring, since the Universe has decided it is not to be a flip flop week just yet!
