Wearables: Turban with a Twist

I bought this batik print scarf one weekend whilst visiting the Ferry Building with my mom. I had always loved that long-scarf-wrapped-as-headband look in summer but hadn't had a scarf thin enough to achieve it. Well, here we are! This isn't exactly the same look as I just described, but this cute little printed scarf is pretty versatile so I wouldn't be surprised if you see it again in many styles.

The loafers from Zara, I love. It only took one wearing or so to break them in perfectly and now they're my new everyday flat. In prepping this post I noticed they have a couple other pairs that are similar, so I may have to investigate their sale section in a few weeks as they get rid of more winter wears... I highly recommend Zara for quality basics, if you haven't already heard of them. Or, you know, for that sequined skirt you never knew you needed. They cover it all!

I love finding outfits that look different enough to be interesting (which, I hope, this one is!) but which are basic enough to run errands in or wear to casual brunch. San Francisco is not the dressiest of places so I'm constantly trying to mix casual with bits of fancy...
